As a parent, you may be aware of the new challenges and changes the internet presents, but feel uncertain about how to help your children navigate it safely. It’s easy to be overwhelmed by the vastness of this digital landscape, especially if you feel like your kids know their way around the internet, tablets and apps better than you.
We offer two workshops for different ages & stages of children.
Our one hour live online session (with extra time for Q&A) is aimed at parents, guardians and carers for children 8 – 18.
The workshop will equip you to talk to younger kids about digital dangers as well as enjoying safely what the web can offer. It will also focus on apps, devices and how to talk to teens about xxx content.
TECH & TOOLS
Discover tech and tools that can help you monitor the use of devices and provide some independence and freedom.
Conversation starters
Discover a framework for conversations about the dangers of pornography, healthy relationships and digital behaviour.
APPS
Discover resources & help for understanding apps like TikTok and Snapchat.
Interactive Session
This fast-paced and interactive session includes anonymous polls and Q&A & participation.
It is helpful for attendees to have an additional device or browser tab available to fully take part.
